BBQ Brisket Hot Dog

Description

There is something special about these hot dogs. Topped with brisket, onions, jalapeños, sweet and heat BBQ sauce, and cheddar cheese. These hotdogs are sure to be a hit at your next BBQ or sports event.


Ingredients

  • 2 whole jalapeños, thinly sliced for serving
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese for serving
  • 6 hot dogs
  • 6 hot dog buns
  • 1 white onion finely chopped for serving
  • 1/2 pound cooked sliced brisket
  • Hickory pellets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Traeger to 450°F with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
  2. Put the hot dogs on the grill grate and cook for 7-10 minutes with the lid closed, turn until lightly brown and warmed through.
  3. Next, wrap the brisket in tin foil with a little Traeger sweet and heat BBQ sauce. Put it on the grill next to the hot dogs and cook for 5-7 minutes until warmed through.
  4. Take the brisket and hot dogs off the grill, put the hotdog in the bun, and top with brisket, sweet and heat BBQ sauce, onions, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños.
